My name is Joshua and I’m an experienced audio engineer with a deep background in studio recording, music production, live sound, and education. My goal is to deliver quality audio experiences in a variety of audio disciplines.

Lead the process, innovation, and daily technical troubleshooting as well as providing the highest quality of AV/IT support.
Recruit, train and coordinate weekly schedules, payroll and disciplinary procedures as well as provide development opportunities for the team.

Stage tech for a 30 city 6 month tour featuring LL Cool J and The Roots
Managed all the DJ gear for the tour. Setup gear for events and maintained gear for the tour.
• Setup, operate, and program AV equipment (speakers, lights, microphones, video cameras, webcams, video walls, networks) for large scale live events.
• Manage and coordinate all AV gear rentals, transportation, hospitality, flights, and hotel bookings for national and international touring artists. Production manager during events.
• Managed venue operations including maintaining and updating infrastructure, box office, network infrastructure, training and staff scheduling / management.
• Educated students on the subjects of audio engineering / music production (recording, mixing, mastering, sound design and synthesis.) Created the curriculum from the ground up. 40-60 students a term.
• Project management and tech support to build and improve multiple recording studio spaces and the quality of student’s education. Successfully transitioned the program to remote learning during the pandemic with high quality audio and video streaming for virtual learning. Supported and managed the departments AV needs.
• Managed the budget for the program that was used to purchase computers, analog recording console, microphones, sound treatment and various production gear. Managed the recording and live production spaces, including logistics, scheduling, engineering and maintenance. Managed all the AV needs of events at the campus including planning, logistics, budgets, scheduling, and setup.
