Experience
At EOS it is my responsibility to operate, typically with a team, to gather equipment, load into site, install gear, calibrate, test, remove trash, and debrief on a variety of projects around the Washington Sound region. I have been acting as a lead for teams this includes; reports, taking inventory, being poc for other teams (trash, shipment, decom, other av teams, new hires and outsource members) gathering consumable equipment for the team, designating tasks, keeping everyone in contact with one another, relaying important info, and ensuring tasks are being completed for the overall project.
I was taken on as a stagehand in Eugene Oregon. I worked regularly at the main event centers (Matt Knight arena, The Cuthbert Amphitheatre, Hult Center) load in for audio and visual equipment of touring acts, running cabling, and tear down.
After moving to Seattle I quickly pickup up gigs with local 15 doing similar work at the International conference center, Climate pledge arena, and Lumen field.
I would setup, operate, and provide live support 3-5 live shows a week at various venues and pubs around Eugene Oregon. These would range from live panel talk shows, to comedy, to music and non profit events.
I oversaw the repair department. I had a client basis that I would oversee organizing to complete repairs on in an efficient and reasonable time frame, including instruments owned by the store that would be damaged or altered. This would include modifications, wood work, wiring/ re wiring electronics, finish work, or making/ ordering parts for instruments. I would also help shipping and receiving, as well as counting money if needed.
Not an employer, but I worked very closely with Sprout City booking bands and artists for voice over, podcasts, music, audio repair/ reconstruction, editing, and mixing. I would regularly be hired by local smaller venues to rig, setup, calibrate, and operate audio and lighting systems. Sprout City hired me annually for several bigger festivals where I would have a small team working with me to help setup for the duration of the festival.
