Summary:

We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our sales team. This position requires a self-starter familiar with and efficient working from a virtual office as part of a virtual team.

  • The Sales Development Representative is responsible for achieving a target number for qualified leads using all aspects of prospecting methods
  • qualify inbound leads generated through marketing
  • initiating prospecting efforts toward target accounts including, but not limited to outbound calling

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Qualify inbound inquiries from marketing and demand generation activities
  • Build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities for TPG Sales Representatives to deliver on sales targets
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual qualified sales targets
  • Cold call prospective new clients
  • Collaborate with Field Sales to determine strategy
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives
  • Identify decision makers to begin the sales conversation
  • Support TPG Marketing with outbound initiatives
  • Become proficient in sales and marketing software platforms and processes
  • Manage and maintain all prospecting activity in Salesforce.com
  • Maintain follow up to Field Sales with next steps and relevant qualification information

 

 Level of Proficiency / Skills Required: 

  • Minimum two (2) years of successfully performing in a similar telemarketing or telequalification role conducting conversations with senior executives at enterprise accounts
  • Must be a self-starter with multi-tasking ability
  • Must have exceptional time management skills
  • Driven to thrive in a fast paced environment where you pursue multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with minimal direct supervision
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and marketing technology including but not limited to marketing automation, customer relationship management, search-engine marketing and social media marketing is preferred
  • Ability to problem solve, accurately identify business pain points and client needs
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently perform sales qualifications
