We’re looking for a Commercial Real Estate Transaction & Research Manager to join our team in Portland, OR. This is a high-impact role supporting our brokers with everything from coordinating deals to delivering market insights. You won’t be managing people, but you will be managing processes, and your work will directly influence the success of our brokerage.

Key Details:

  • Pay: $60,000 - $70,000/DOE
  • Benefits: Employer-paid health insurance for employees, dental, PTO, 401k with safe harbor matching, parking pass, onsite gym, stocked kitchen, and open-concept office environment
  • Schedule: IN OFFICE, M – F, 8 – 5, with occasional evening or weekend needs

Who you are: We're seeking a proactive, self-starting individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys tackling a variety of tasks. As the Commercial Real Estate Transaction & Research Manager you'll play a pivotal role in providing essential support to our brokers, from coordinating transactions to conducting essential market research. You bring an innate desire to meet or exceed deadlines while delivering high-quality work, an insatiable appetite for success, and a strong motivation to learn and grow, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include:

Transaction Management (50% of time)

  • Manage the due diligence document process including organizing documents
  • Draft contracts including listing agreements, letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements
  • Coordinate property inspections, open escrow, and manage transaction timelines
  • Collaborate with brokers and clients to ensure deadlines are met
  • Update RMLS listings
  • Take meeting minutes and support broker-client relationship management

Market Research (50% of time)

  • Conduct ongoing research on market trends, property values, and industry developments
  • Analyze data to uncover insights and support decision-making
  • Prepare reports and presentations for brokers and clients
  • Maintain real estate databases and ensure data accuracy
  • Use GIS and mapping tools for spatial analysis and site evaluations
  • Forecast market conditions and contribute to marketing strategy
  • Attend site visits, inspections, and industry events

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in real estate, with strong preference for commercial brokerage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, or related field (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, GIS, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with market research methods and real estate databases
  • Knowledge of real estate market trends and regulations
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy and organizational skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for growth and development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to get and maintain an Oregon Real Estate License within 6 months (preferred if already licensed)
