We invite you to join us in a facilitated dialog with coach, facilitator and cross-cultural consultant and immigrant, Lillian A. Tsai .
About this event
In a one-year period from March 19, 2020 to March 31, 2021, the number of hate incidents recorded against AAPIs totaled 6,603, according to STOP AAPI HATE’s national report of May 6, 2021. In March alone, there were approximately 2,808 incidents across the U.S. In Vancouver, Canada, the number of incidents top that of New York and the city is dubbed, “Anti-Asian Hate Crime Capital of North America” (Bloomberg Equality). According to AAPI leaders, these numbers are most likely undercounted since many AAPIs do not report these due to cultural values and fear.If you identify as a member of any of these groups:
An employer of AAPIs
An AAPI employee
An AAPI business owner
An ally/advocate of AAPIs
We invite you to join us in a facilitated dialog with coach, facilitator and cross-cultural consultant and immigrant, Lillian A. Tsai ,to share your stories of the impact this past year of anti-Asian hate has had on you, your organization, your business and/or community. We will address several questions, such as:
How have the anti-AAPI incidents in the past year impacted you and your community?
What has your company offered in way of support?
