Every one of us has a resume, but how many of us can truly articulate our strongest strengths or describe our proudest accomplishments to others? The ability to market yourself is not innate, it’s learned with practice! This workshop is a powerful opportunity to transform how you think about your experience, goals and accomplishments.
We will start by examining several key ways to improve the content of your own resume. Next, you’ll have a chance to revise parts of your own resume during the session, and you’ll be provided with direct, concrete suggestions on how to improve your own content. These interactive exercises will provide valuable insights on how to showcase what you’ve accomplished during your career while targeting the type of role that you plan to move into.
The workshop will include the following components:
● Examples of the most effective resume structures and layouts.
● Using the STAR Framework in the resume: What have you accomplished?
● In-class exercises to practice quantifying and communicating your experience.
As a participant, you’ll walk away with:
● Concrete feedback and clear suggestions for improving your current resume
● Proven methods for showcasing your most important and transferable accomplishments
Registration will be capped at 10 participants to ensure that each attendee receives individual attention.
