Derek Pangelinan owns Derek Rey Consulting. He teaches leaders to inspire their people to perform and be happy at work; and entrepreneurs to inspire themselves to be their most effective and happy in their work. He has been publicly speaking for more than 25 years and has been a professional workshop facilitator and team-builder for nearly 10 years, though he wrote and facilitated his first team building workshop over 20 years ago. In his non-work time, he is a writer of fiction (unpublished but very enthusiastic) and is the Chair of the Beaverton Downtown Association, an organization that promotes economic development and historical preservation of Old Town Beaverton.
