We’re honored to feature Kilong Ung, who is known as Golden Leaf. He will talk about “A Purposeful Life Of The Golden Leaf”.

Kilong Ung will share his life story from surviving the Cambodian labor camp and genocide to currently owning a State Farm insurance and financial services business. His memoir, “Golden Leaf”, and his non-profit, Golden Leaf Education Foundation, have inspired many people to laugh, love, live, let live, and forgive. His life story epitomizes the human resiliency, courage, compassion, forgiveness, and purpose.

Bio:

Mr. Kilong Ung is a small business owner, State Farm agent, State Farm Bank certified representative, FINRA registered representative, mortgage loan originator, author, speaker, community leader, volunteer, and humanitarian. He is a key subject in the documentary feature film, Risking Light.

Mr. Ung was born in Cambodia and survived the Cambodian genocide. He came to the United States as a refugee in 1979, is a Cleveland High School alumnus, graduated from Reed College, and completed his master’s degree in statistics at Bowling Green State University.
