Terry “Starbucker” Shares his Presentation from November’s pdxMindShare

At November’s pdxMindShare event, Terry St. Marie, also known as Starbucker, shared his professional experience and his passion for great leadership. Having grown up in a blue collar home, he worked hard to get through school and eventually became a CPA. He was, at a pretty young age, hand picked to take a seat in a corner office where he gave himself the name “Spreadsheet Assassin.” Having helped the company he worked for then maximize profits each year through laying off and firing employees more often than he liked, he decided to make some changes for how he continued on his professional journey. He sat down and made a list, something he encourages everyone to do, of what he wanted his career to look like. He made the necessary changes and went on to become a great leader, by following values that we important to him, with exceptional profits and great employee and customer satisfaction.

You can read more about his journey and his principles for leadership in his presentation below.
