We had a great 1st quarter of speakers that shared their insights on how to tell people YOU are the right one for the job, be successful, and to craft a killer cover letter. Dozens of people filled into Trader Vic’s and took away valuable information to use on their career search and networked with PDX professionals. Each month, we bring in expert speakers that equip our attendees with information to help advance careers, secure new jobs, change careers, or just looking to excel in their current position. Events are held at Trader Vic’s in downtown Portland on the 3rd Wednesday of each month with a fabulous happy hour which includes a popular and yummy mai tai. The career-focused workshops begin at 4:30PM, and networking to follow at 5:30PM. Events bring in 40 to 80 Portland professionals representing a spectrum of industries that encompass career seekers and employers looking to hire. Everyone is welcome, and the there is no fee to attend.

May 20th: How to Get Your Business Groove Back with Dawn Montefusco
We all get into a funk in our professional lives from time to time. If you ever have that feeling of being stuck, bored or spinning your wheels, this will be a great workshop to attend. Dawn Montefusco, a write, blogger and life coach, will give advice on how to align your thoughts and actions, and make changes to get you out of the rut you are experiencing.
